We started photography back in 2008 because we wanted to capture our life. The crazy adventures, the big moments filled with the joy, the tears that came unexpectedly, and all the in-betweens. We want to capture all those moments for you as well. We're sappy. We're happy. We will always be a lover of LOVE and hope that all our couples feel the same way.
Photography trends may come and go, but our photography vision will always be classic and timeless. That means that you'll get bright and airy photos with beautiful vibrant color tones, and a little bit of grain. Years from now, we want you to be able to look through your photos and relive those memories. We want your children and grandchildren to be able to see you how you truly were back then.
When you book msxphotos, you get our care and expertise. We only take a small handful of weddings every year so we can provide the utmost care for all our couples. Let's work together to capture your beautiful memories! This is the most important day of your life and we aim to capture all of it! With msxphotos, you will receive full high resolution photos and a personal print release so you can print your photos anywhere. We also offer professional prints such as albums, canvas and cards for your convenience. All packages and prints are subject to 5.5% sales tax.

Chee La and I are primarily natural light photographers. It will always be our first choice but, we will use flash when it's necessary. Our style is defined by bright bold colors and timeless imagery. We love photographing our couples in beautiful surroundings. On the wedding day, we often use flash to capture sunset portraits and fun photos during the receptions.

We only take a limited number of couples every year to make sure that we can provide the best experience. Our couples are more than just a number and we take pride in getting to know you. For that reason, we highly recommend that if you love our work, please contact us right away. To book, you would need to complete the online contract and pay the non-refundable retainer. We can send you all the details so you can easily and quickly hold your date!

are you insured? do you have backup equipment in case of camera failure?
Yes, and yes! It's so important to protect us and you. We wouldn't leave the house without it!
That's exactly what we're here for! We always say, "Don't worry about posing, just be in love!" Think of your engagement session as time for all of us to just hang out! We will spend time directing and getting you both comfortable in front of the camera. You won't even remember that we are taking photos.
what if we don't know how to pose?
Can I have access to all the unedited/raw images?
For the complimentary engagement session, you can expect to receive a full gallery within 1 month of your session (often times sooner!). Your wedding gallery will be delivered within 3 months of your wedding date. For all sessions, unless otherwise stated, your photos will be delivered via a private online gallery. You will also have access to our personal online print shop. Your photos will be hosted up to 1 year on our online gallery.

Unedited images will not be released at any point. It is important to choose the right photographer for yourself! Be sure to take a look through our images so that you can get an accurate idea of our photography style. Unedited files will not reflect our style and therefore, it is not released under any situation.
Chee La and I live in Berlin, Wisconsin! It's 20 minutes west of Oshkosh and our little slice of the country paradise. We are not limited to just the Green Lake area though. We have photographed weddings all over Wisconsin and would love to capture your wedding no matter where you are! Did we mention we LOVE traveling & exploring?

The initial emails! It's so important to choose the right photographer for you. Don't be afraid to ask questions. We love answering them because we want to make sure that we are the right fit for your photography needs! You can reach us easily through email or we can set up a phone call as well! Our style is bold and colorful with lots of light and bokeh.
our first meeting
This is a chance for us to hang out (and take awesome photos)! Chee La and I feel that the best way we can really get to know you is through your complimentary engagement session. We love hiking and we are willing to meet you anywhere that will show off your personality! I know this can bring up some anxiety being in front of the camera. No worries! We are there for you and will help guide you!

Once of the most important things we do together is complete the photography timeline! We've discovered that it is the single best way to make sure the wedding day runs smoothly! About 1-1/2 to 1 month prior to your wedding day, I will send you a timeline questionnaire. Using that information, we will define all the important details and work on a timeline that will allow us capture everything you want on your special day!

It's going to go by quick, so remember to relax, enjoy each other and don't forget to eat! No worries though, because you will have a whole team (from planners to florist, videographers and US!) behind you working to make today the best day ever! Chee La and I will be there to document your beautiful day every step of the way.

We absolutely love working with Mai See and Chee La! My husband and I are hopeless romantics so we were extremely nervous for our engagement shoot.
