Our videos are cinematic, not just documenting your day but crafting an experience that lets you relive the emotions for years to come.
At msxphotos, you get our full attention and care. We only take a limited number of weddings each year to ensure the personal, high-quality experience you deserve. You’ll receive high-resolution photos, high-quality video, and a personal print release to print your photos wherever you’d like. We also offer professional prints like albums, canvas, and cards.

A few days later, you’ll get sneak peeks (because we know patience isn’t a thing after weddings). Then comes a full blog post, and finally your complete gallery within 3 months—aka your personal time machine back to “best day ever.”
The Big Day + Beyond
Your day will fly faster than you can believe, so remember: eat, laugh, love, and let your vendor squad (including us!) handle the chaos. We’ll be right there capturing all the big + little moments.

About a month before the wedding, we’ll send over a quick timeline questionnaire. Together we’ll map out all the details so the day runs smooth as butter. Basically, it’s our secret sauce for stress free photos.
Wedding Countdown
Think of this as a double date with cameras! Your engagement session is on us, and it’s the best way to get comfy in front of the lens. Feeling awkward? Don’t worry, we’ve got enough dad jokes and goofy prompts to keep it fun.

This is where it all begins! Choosing your photographer is a big deal, so don’t be shy—ask us anything. We love chatting and want to make sure we’re the perfect match. You can shoot us an email or hop on a quick call. Our style? Bold, colorful, and packed with all the dreamy light and bokeh your heart could want.

Chee La and I are primarily natural light photographers. It will always be our first choice but, we will use flash when it's necessary. Our style is defined by bright bold colors and timeless imagery. We love photographing our couples in beautiful surroundings. On the wedding day, we often use flash to capture sunset portraits and fun photos during the receptions.

We only take a limited number of couples every year to make sure that we can provide the best experience. Our couples are more than just a number and we take pride in getting to know you. For that reason, we highly recommend that if you love our work, please contact us right away. To book, you would need to complete the online contract and pay the non-refundable retainer. We can send you all the details so you can easily and quickly hold your date!

are you insured? do you have backup equipment in case of camera failure?
Yes, and yes! It's so important to protect us and you. We wouldn't leave the house without it!
That's exactly what we're here for! We always say, "Don't worry about posing, just be in love!" Think of your engagement session as time for all of us to just hang out! We will spend time directing and getting you both comfortable in front of the camera. You won't even remember that we are taking photos.
what if we don't know how to pose?
Can I have access to all the unedited/raw images?
For the complimentary engagement session, you can expect to receive a full gallery within 1 month of your session (often times sooner!). Your wedding gallery will be delivered within 3 months of your wedding date. For all sessions, unless otherwise stated, your photos will be delivered via a private online gallery. You will also have access to our personal online print shop. Your photos will be hosted up to 1 year on our online gallery.

Unedited images will not be released at any point. It is important to choose the right photographer for yourself! Be sure to take a look through our images so that you can get an accurate idea of our photography style. Unedited files will not reflect our style and therefore, it is not released under any situation.
Chee La and I live in Berlin, Wisconsin! It's 20 minutes west of Oshkosh and our little slice of the country paradise. We are not limited to just the Green Lake area though. We have photographed weddings all over Wisconsin and would love to capture your wedding no matter where you are! Did we mention we LOVE traveling & exploring?

We're so excited to announce that starting 2024, we offering photo & video packages! You get the best of both worlds and best part is that you don't have to juggle multiple vendors. Over a decade together, working and spending every day with each other -- we know exactly how to best work together and capture all those important details so that you don't have to worry about a thing.
do you only do photography or can you film our wedding too?
We absolutely love working with Mai See and Chee La! My husband and I are hopeless romantics so we were extremely nervous for our engagement shoot. Mai See and Chee La had wonderful tips and cute games for each shot to help bring out the love we had for each other. They are professional, responsive, and super understanding! The photography timeline and consultation mad the whole process so much easier to visualize what we wanted to have captured on our wedding day. We felt so taken care of! Many of our friends and families loved our wedding photos too! One of our colleagues said our photos looked like it came out of a magazine. We would definitely book them again for future shoots. They are such a wonderful husband and wife duo, they remind us so much of ourselves too.

Mai See and Chee La are amazing to work with. Not only are they professional but easy going and fun. We laughed a lot and got along great with both of them. Our couples mean the world to us, and because we’re committed to giving each one the best experience possible, Chee La and I only take on a limited number of weddings each year. Please note: No date is officially reserved without a signed contract and deposit. The average msxphotos couple invests between $3-5k in their wedding experience.
