Brianna & Ryan | A Rustic Dreamy Wedding | Farmview Event Barn, Berlin, WI

What a perfect barn wedding it was for Brianna & Ryan. The weather could not have been better and not a single detail was out of place. Not an understatement to say, we enjoyed photographing every moment of it. We had a great morning chatting with them as they got ready. With no first look, they would have to wait until the ceremony to see each other. We were anticipating that moment almost as much as they were, but not before photographing all of their amazing details.

Located literally a stone’s throw away from our house, Farmview Event Barn is a beautiful wedding venue that operates as a working farm as well. We were so excited to finally shoot there as Chee La and I have drove by it for years! The decorations were so dreamy. Rustic wood and stone intermingling with soft florals and elegant touches of fabric and glass. Oh! and the string lights and flickering candles were so pretty! But nothing could compare to Brianna and Ryan hand in hand at the alter and finally saying “I do”. What a sight it was as family and friends gathered around them and shared in their love. We always tell our couples that the most anxious part of the day is the ceremony but the rest of the night just flies by so enjoy it as much as possible.

We took bridal portraits as the guests mingled and got ready for reception. We could have taken photos of these two newlyweds all day. No lie! Brianna’s dress flowed with the gentle breeze and Ryan looked so clean in his traditional black suit and tie. With the farm as their backdrop, they were the picture perfect couple. We even got to sneak them out for some amazing sunset photos which we always always recommend to our couples as it’s a great time to get away and just be with each other for a little bit (aside from the two kooky photographers taking a million photos of you).

Reception was gorgeous with the daylight dimming and the candles flickering amidst sounds of laughter and cheer. Also, did we mention the ice cream truck? Well, yes, there was an ice cream truck courtesy of Brianna & Ryan. We feel like this should be a standard tradition to have at all weddings now. You bet we got in line and got ourselves a treat…. or two. We couldn’t stop dancing the night away with everyone but alas every great night comes to an end and we headed on a short trip home after hugging our newlyweds and congratulating them. Brianna & Ryan, we wish you endless years of bliss and happiness!
