What a incredible day for an autumn wedding at Camp Lakotah in Wautoma. We couldn’t wait to celebrate Emily & Jordan tying the knot! As Chee La and I drove up to the venue, we knew it was going to be an amazing day. All around the colorful leaves shimmer in the sunlight and the weather was beyond perfect. We quickly got set up and went to greet everyone. Lucky for us, both the boys and girl’s cabins were right next to each other, making it super simple to move back and forth between the two as we captured both photo & video! Even after capturing weddings for 6 years there’s some days, I can’t believe that we get to do this! It is such an honor to be a part of our bride & groom’s special day and always a joy to meet all the people that care the most about them! After saying hello, I started styling and photographing all the wedding details. Emily did such a lovely job putting together all the bouquets and everything was so perfectly chosen to capture the essences of fall!

After they both got dressed, it was time for the first look. Beneath a forest of tall trees, Emily & Jordan saw each other for the first time that day and shared an emotional vow reading together. It was magical. Afterwards, their bridal party joined us for some fun photos before we took Emily & Jordan away to get some classic shots with Jordan’s Rat Rod.

Reception was filled with touching speeches, yummy food, drinks, and lots of dancing. The space was jam packed with all their family and friends. We snuck Emily & Jordan out for some golden hour portraits by the beach and finished the night with some sparkler photos. We’ve done sparkler exits before but this was our first time writing/drawing with them instead. Chee La sure got a workout but we absolutely love how they turned out!
