Kersten and Brayden’s fall wedding couldn’t have landed on a more perfect autumn day. These two have been together for ten years, and you could feel every bit of that love and history woven into their day. It was such an honor to be there to capture it all.

Their ceremony took place right in their backyard, set against the remnants of an old stone barn wall that gave everything such a cozy, rustic charm. Surrounding the space were mums in the prettiest fall colors, a perfect nod to the season. When we arrived, the girls were all hanging out, laughing and enjoying the morning. Even Enzo, their sweet pup, greeted us at the door with his tail wagging. After a little impromptu dancing and shenanigans, it was time to get ready, but not before Kersten squeezed in a quick pre-ceremony workout. Then she slipped into her gorgeous gown and shared the sweetest, most emotional first look with her dad.

The guys showed up ready to go, well, except for a little blue pants mix-up. Thankfully, Brayden’s mom came to the rescue and got everyone sorted in no time. From there, the energy only went up. Between sunglasses, dance moves, and plenty of laughs, this bridal party was such a blast. We’ve got to give them a huge shoutout. They kept the fun rolling and made sure Kersten and Brayden felt celebrated all day long. I love when the wedding party is all in because it makes the whole day flow so joyfully and brings even more excitement.

As guests gathered and the ceremony began, a calm hush fell over the crowd. Brayden walked up the aisle with Enzo faithfully by his side. Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for, Kersten walking toward her groom. The emotion in that moment was so real and so raw. You could see Brayden trying to hold it together, almost making it through. And then came the vows, and wow. There wasn’t a dry eye in sight. Both Kersten and Brayden poured their hearts out, and you could just feel how much life and love they’ve shared already. Those are the moments we live for, the real, emotional, can’t-help-but-tear-up kind of moments.

After the ceremony, everyone headed to the Aud Mar for the reception. It was such a beautiful venue tucked right along the lake. As the sun started to set, we snuck away for a few golden-hour photos. I gotta say the light was pure magic. That soft, dreamy glow made everything feel extra special. Those ended up being some of my favorite shots of the entire day!

Kersten and Brayden’s wedding was the perfect mix of heartfelt and fun, full of love, laughter, and beautiful fall details. We left that night with a full heart, so grateful to have witnessed and captured such a special day for such a wonderful couple. I can’t wait to see the video that Chee La put together as well. It’s going to be so fun!
