Guys, it’s hard to believe but we’re officially in single digit weeks countdown to meet our second little baby. I don’t know how but the past 7 months just flew by. Before I realized it, here we are. Chee La and I are so excited and judging by the way Lulu carries her baby doll around, feeding it and soothing its pretend cries, we think she’s ready as well. What a blessing it is to be parents.
Chee La and I wanted our maternity shoot to be very special. As you know, we love shooting photos outside in natural light and greenery but that’s an impossible request in the middle of a Wisconsin winter. So I thought about what else we could do and the Milwaukee Domes was such an easy answer. I absolutely love green houses & horticultural conservancies. The Milwaukee Domes was a location that I’ve been wanting to shoot at for forever but so far it hasn’t happened — so I thought, why not for us! And we really couldn’t have chosen a better location. Between the rainforest and desert domes, it was just magical. People were strewn about and it was super duper busy because we happened to pick the opening day of their train event. It was both sweet and funny the number of “Congratulations on your wedding” we got while I was walking around with a big old belly. Everyone was kind enough to give us a little room and with a lot of strategic angling + some photoshop magic, we made it work! A special thank you to my sister Xia for helping capture the photos of both Chee La and I as well.
We cannot wait to meet our little one. It’s both exciting and sad how fast they grow. All I know is that I’m so thankful we are able to capture all these precious moments.
Love,
Mai See
