Sydney & Derek | The Sweetest Celebration at Brighton Acres | Oshkosh, WI

Sydney and Derek’s wedding day at Brighton Acres was one of those days that felt effortless from beginning to end. Everything came together beautifully, and there was such a calm, joyful atmosphere that made it easy for everyone to simply enjoy the moment.

When we arrived, the final touches were being put in place, and the venue looked stunning. We spent the morning with the girls as they got ready, and Sydney was absolutely gorgeous. Her dress was dreamy, with the prettiest lace and intricate details. Upstairs, the guys were hanging out, cracking jokes, and keeping everyone laughing.

One of our favorite things about the day was how smoothly everything unfolded. Nothing felt rushed, and the timeline flowed perfectly, giving everyone time to be present and soak it all in. Sydney and Derek have such easygoing personalities, and that energy carried through the entire celebration.

Their bridal party was handpicked with so much intention and complemented them perfectly. There were smiles, laughter, and genuine excitement everywhere we turned. They kept their wedding simple and heartfelt, and you could tell their guests were having an amazing time. One of the highlights was the ice cream truck, where both kids and adults lined up to grab their favorite flavors.

Because the day flowed so naturally, we were able to capture some absolutely gorgeous portraits of the two of them. As the evening came to an end, we snuck away one last time for a few nighttime photos before saying goodbye.

Sydney and Derek, spending the day with you both was such a joy. The love you share is so genuine, and we have no doubt you’re meant for each other. We wish you a lifetime of happiness together. ❤️
