Kacie and Dan’s wedding was an absolute blast from beginning to end. Everything was beautiful. Kacie’s dress, Dan’s suit, the gorgeous fresh flowers, all the little details. But more than anything, it was the people who made the day feel so special.

Kacie’s girls were happy and cheerful the entire day, except for the few moments when the happy tears started flowing. Whether it was seeing Kacie for the first time or listening to their heartfelt speeches, it was pretty clear just how much these girls love her.

And then there were the boys. They were loud, rowdy, and constantly giving each other a hard time, but in the best possible way. You know those friendships where everyone talks over each other, nobody can finish a story without being interrupted, and somehow everyone ends up laughing at the same joke? That was them.

And right in the middle of it all was Dan, smiling from ear to ear. Honestly, we could see why. Kacie is the apple of his eye, and there wasn’t a single thing that could dampen his spirit that day. Not even a few silly storm clouds rolling through. He was marrying the love of his life, and that was all that mattered.

Their families and closest friends gathered together for a sweet and intimate ceremony at Noble Victory Memorial Chapel before heading over to Prairie Springs on Park for the reception. And what a beautiful place to celebrate. Prairie Springs on Park is absolutely gorgeous, with so much natural light, a beautiful industrial look, and a park right next door. It was the perfect backdrop for the rest of their day. Both of their families were so kind and welcoming to us throughout the entire day, and we truly felt like we were part of the celebration rather than just there to photograph it. After dinner and some seriously heartwarming speeches, it was time to party.

And boy, did these people know how to party. The lights came on, the sparks started flying, the glow sticks came out, and suddenly there were sunglasses everywhere. Add in basically every millennial hit song you could ask for, and the dance floor never stood a chance. It stayed packed all night, and we could barely get Kacie and Dan off of it long enough to take a few photos. They were having way too much fun, and honestly, we loved watching them soak it all in. Our old feet are still sore from all that dancing.

We ended the night with one simple night shot right there at the venue before finally saying goodbye. It was a pretty perfect ending to a day that felt so much like Kacie and Dan: full of laughter, good friends, a whole lot of love, and just the right amount of chaos.

Kacie and Dan, we’re so happy we got to be there for this one. You two really are made for each other, and after watching you celebrate with all of your favorite people, we already know the future is going to be nothing short of epic. We wish you guys a lifetime of happiness together.
